How much is postage and how quickly are orders shipped?
I pick, sign, and pack every order within 24 hours of receipt and post Monday – Saturday. Each package also gets a little hug before I wave them off.
Standard shipping is £3.80 for Royal Mail Tracked 48 (aims for 2-3 working days).
Express Shipping is £4.80 for Royal Mail Tracked 24 (aims for next day delivery)
Can I get signed editions?
Of course! I sign each book before packing. If you would like me to sign it to you, please let me know in the order comments box.
Where can I buy the special edition hardbacks?
The special editions are available via this website, TikTok Shop and (depending on stock) at my in-person author events. Click here for my events schedule.
Where can I find the eBooks?
The eBooks are currently exclusive to Amazon and available in Kindle Unlimited.
What’s the reading order?
There are currently four novels in the Ethereal World: a duology, The First Ethereal (Book 1) & The Blessing of Crows (Book 2) plus two standalone prequels The Magic Keepers & The Butterfly Witch.
If you’d like to read them in the order they were written, start with the duology then read The Magic Keepers followed by The Butterfly Witch.
If you like reading in historical order, then it’s The Butterfly Witch, The Magic Keepers and then the duology.
The books are all connected and easy to follow so where to begin is up to you.
Where can I find the deleted scene from The Butterfly Witch?
You can download it here but be warned, it contains a spoiler for The Magic Keepers so best read once you’ve finished them both.
Are the books spicy?
While I’d love to make a fortune writing spicy stories, my books have a heat rating equivalent to the lemon and herb dressing in Nando’s. There is some violence and I make no apology for the fact that my characters swear.
Are any animals hurt?
No. The duology includes brief references to the horrors of animal agriculture which (quite rightly) may upset some readers, but they are not graphic. There are a few scenes of mild peril for the non-human characters, but I’d rather bump off a legion of humans than see anything happen to the furies.
What is your environmental policy?
I care deeply about our beautiful planet and strive to minimise negative environmental impact wherever I can. The books you buy direct from me are printed in the UK by ISO14001 certified printers using FSC and PEFC certified paper.
For shipping, I use recyclable cardboard book wraps and boxes and paper tape where possible. I receive the special editions from my printer in bubble wrap so ship them to you in the same material to protect the books and keep the material in use and out of landfill.
While I occasionally succumb to a sticker, I don’t believe cheap plastic ‘merch’ is the best way to tell my lovely readers how much I value them. Does branded merch help people remember you? Possibly, but I’d rather be remembered for the right reasons.

Are the Ethereal World books suitable for young adults?
I wrote the books with adults in mind as they explore mature emotional themes and complex character relationships. If you’re a parent or guardian, I’d advise reading the books yourself and using your own judgement before recommending.
